MOMS Club® of Spokane-North, WA | Lots of Activities for Moms and Kids

Mommy Playgroup:
A Moms playgroup for those with school-ages kids; meets during school hours....for coffee, shopping, movies and other fun Mom stuff!

Cooking Club:
Learning new cooking techniques and recipe exchange based upon a theme.

Couples Night Out (CNO):
A chance to get to know other spouses. Non-mobile children are welcome to attend. If your spouse is not able to attend MOMS may come alone.

Crafty Chicks:
Craft for the Moms. Past examples have been wreaths, scrapbook pages, homemade cards, and sewing. Sometimes the host will ask Moms to bring along some supplies and host supplies part of the needed materials, the host can also ask for a certain dollar amount (under $5) for participating in the craft.

Family Night Out (FNO):
The whole family gets to know each other at family night out. Spouse and other family members are welcome to attend. Past activities have included: picnic at the park, pizza night, and baseball.

Helping Hands:
Provides meals to Moms in need, such as a new baby, surgery, death of immediate family member. Moms sign up to bring over a meal.

Kids Craft:
Craft activity for the children geared at (2-5 year olds) adaptable to all ages.

Lunch Bunch:
Getting together for potluck style lunch based upon a theme, example: apple, pumpkin, thanksgiving, potato bar, salads, low fat etc.

MOMS night out (MNO):
A time for Moms to socialize with one another. Non-walking children are welcome to attend. Past activities include, pottery making, movie night, dinner night, bowling, ice-skating, pokeno, gift-wrapping.

Monthly Chapter Meeting:
Discuss monthly activities and vote on charity work and donations to be made.

Party Committee:
Plans the Moms Club parties: Baby Showers, Valentine's, Halloween and Holiday parties are just a few of the celebrations.

Playgroups:
Age specific groups and siblings get together to play. Helps children to learn to share and interact with other children. It also gives Moms a chance to talk with Moms of the same age children. Playgroups usually meet a few times each month.

Scrapbooking Club:
Get together and get caught up on your scrapbooking with other Moms while the kids play.

Secret Sister:
Secret gift giving for three months to another MOM in the MOMS club. After three months you reveal yourself.

Walking Club:
Meet to get some exercise. Summer months we meet at different local parks to walk trails or the track, winter months we meet at the mall to mall walk. The kids play after Moms walk.
